At approximately 08:20 on Thursday January 21. The GFC was dispatched, along with Western Berks Ambulance, to the report of an MVA on Rt. 183 in front of Werley’s Auto Service Center.
Upon arrival, the GFC Crew found that a southbound Dodge Intrepid had rear-ended a Honda CR-V, pushing it into the Auto Service center parking lot, and injuring the Honda’s driver.
The driver of the Honda was transported to the hospital with unspecified injuries. The driver of the Dodge was uninjured.
The GFC Crew worked to clean up debris and spilled fluids while Bern Township Fire Police directed traffic around the scene. Once the vehicles were removed by V&M Towing, normal traffic flow was resumed shortly after 09:00.
