At 17:37 on Thursday, March 2nd, the GFC and Mt. Pleasant Rescue 30 were dispatched to an MVA on northbound Rt. 183 in front of Dubbles Auto Repair.
Upon arrival, GFC personal found that a rear end collision had occurred between a Chevrolet Impala and a Nissan Sentra had been involved in a rear-end collision. Both vehicles were off the roadway and traffic was being routed through the scene by fire police. GFC personnel checked for spilled fluids and then assisted fire police with traffic control.
There were two reported injuries and both were transported by Schuylkill Valley EMS to Penn State – St. Joseph Medical center. The natures of their injuries were unknown pending evaluation by hospital personnel.
With the scene secured and patients transported, E55 and the GFC crew were released and went available shortly after 18:00.
